More About Street Children..

In this part of the world, where not every persons that is mentally challenged has a safe home in the psychiatry hospitals.

There are times when we meet such people in the market places and road sides, street-walking, Street-sleeping. and without any hope of getting appropriate treatment in the hospitals.

This week, we did come across a young boy who sleeps on the street with his momma. His name is Hope and he really would love to go to school, but momma doesn't understand why and wouldn't want us to interfere  "No one is going to take my boy away" she says!

This scenario brings to mind a bugging question, How do children living with mentally challenged mums, survive?
