Project25: Call for Girl Mentors
Have you always aspire to mentor a child, a girl?
Here is an opportunity for you, as the Resource Sharing Network and Street to School Initiative is inviting vibrant, young female professionals and matured female adults to volunteer as Mentors in the 2013 Youth Mentorship Scheme for High School Girls.
Here is an opportunity for you to:
-Positively impact and be a model of change
-Participate in inspirational TalkShows for High School Girls, especially those who are in rural communities
-Be a part of a robust network of female professionals
-Participate in an educational tour with Mentees to some Consulate General in Lagos State.
Commitment: Mentors are expected to:
• Be in touch with their Mentees at least 3hours every week. Communication could be either physical visitation, phone calls, (e-mentoring). Communication is key!
• Send a monthly report/update to the Mentoring Scheme Management Team (MSMT) via rsnnigeria@gmail.com
• Attend Mentoring Orientation Programme and Close Out Dinner which would take place on November 30th, 2013 and March 29th 2014 respectively.
